An adult take on my favorite childhood game. It was very fun developing the characters in this piece, especially Paper Man and his sidekicks. As you can see: paper covers rock, rock beats scissors, and scissors eats paper. [Photoshop CC]

It’s the first time (in a long time) that I’ve painted a proper background for a character, but I think it came out alright. Summer is fast approaching!

Character Lineup

For this project, I decided to focus on character design, which includes facial expressions, clothing, and face shapes. This expressive bunch was inspired by the culture of Ireland. I was also inspired by Disney (the eyes). Ultimately, my coloring ended up being darker than expected, but I surprisingly prefer the darker palette.  [Photoshop CC]
